Viva Globes Vegas

September was an exciting, busy and very rewarding month, with my trip to fabulous Las Vegas for the annual Souvenir & Gift Show at Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Braving the 40 degree heat of Nevada, Princess Lizzy the Royal Helper and I set up our snow globe display, then spent several days talking with many different gift shop owners, sales reps and souvenir store managers about the superior (dare I say “Queenly”) quality production undertaken by Queen Of Snow Globes.

In addition to meeting lots of new people, I was also touched and honoured to be visited by two of my current clients – Kelly from Dayton, Ohio made a special trip to Las Vegas just to meet me, as did Lisa from Phoenix, Arizona. It really means so much to me that these two wonderful women felt so strongly about meeting me in person, that they took time out of their lives to come to Vegas. Thank you ladies, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you both!

Whilst the new projects we signed at the show are top secret right now, I’m so excited by the calibre of my new clients and can’t wait to share their globe designs with you in the coming months. A huge thanks goes to my good friend Liz – without her very professional assistance, I would not have been able to do this event.

On a final note, although thankfully Liz and I left Vegas ten days before the recent awful events, it was heartbreaking to hear about. The strip is really not that big, so when you stay in Las Vegas you see the big casinos like the Mandalay Bay every day – they become a regular part of your experience. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families and friends so tragically affected.
