It’s been so exciting to add glass-blown ornaments to my product range. These gorgeous custom pieces for Loyola University in Maryland, USA are so pretty and delicate, and I’m incredibly happy with their old-fashioned charm – we are really building up a nice portfolio of custom glass ornaments and I can’t wait to share more of our projects in coming months!
Shannon from Loyola contacted me earlier in the year to talk about snow globes, but after some discussion we thought a better option for the university might be glass ornaments. I’m really pleased we did because I just love the finish on these, the metallic paint is lovely and they’re a great indication of the detail we can achieve with glass.
The original setting is sculpted by hand, and then a mould is produced from that single sculpture. The mould is used to individually blow each one in glass, and the ornaments are then hand painted and packed in these high quality branded boxes for safe-keeping. As always, I love to share my client’s positive comments and this is no exception!
“The ornaments were a tremendous hit! Thank you so much for all your hard work and attention to detail Leah”
