Rachel’s beautiful “Snow Queen” wedding favors have just been delivered for her December Winter Wedding, and it was a long time coming – Rachel is a very organised bride-to-be and contacted me almost a year ago!
We started the sculpture very early and provided Rachel with a visual sample very early in the year. Everything went very smoothly and Rachel’s design, I’m sure you’ll agree, is absolutely stunning.
As a fan of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale “The Snow Queen“, Rachel was keen to represent this beautiful story in her wedding favors.
Being a Narnia fan myself, I was a little confused at first and thought Rachel was referring to The White Witch. I was very much relieved when she set me straight, as you’ll understand if you’ve ever read C.S. Lewis’ classic Narnia series.
We came up with a design featuring a masquerade style mask of white and silver, with holly and ivy sitting behind. These globes are such a delicate and lovely design, and I do wish I could be at the wedding to see the guests’ faces when they open their favors. For now, I’ll have to settle with some photos that Rachel might send me.
Wishing Rachel and her husband to be, John, a beautiful day and many beautiful years to come.
Hi Leah, just to let you know they arrived this morning, they are beautiful! Thank you to you and your team so very much – I can not wait to give these to my guests to treasure as a memory of our special day in 8 weeks time!
